Saturday, September 5 North Melbourne vs Port Adelaide @ Metricon Stadium - 19:40 On Saturday night the second-last placed North Melbourne has the unenviable task of coming up against a Port Adelaide team that just keeps on winning, well, except when they play the in-form Cats! To make matters look like this is an even bigger challenge for the Kangaroos is that, across their last five meetings, the Roos have only won one encounter, but on the upside, that win was in Round 22 last season. With the Power playing a high standard of footy in 2020, you gotta go with them. Port Adelaide by 35 points Sunday, September 6 St. Kilda vs Hawthorn @ Metricon Stadium - 13:05 While St Kilda is just clinging on to their place in the Top eight after having lost three of their past five matches, they are coming up against a Hawthorn team that has fallen into a real hole over the past couple of months. Last Week 8/10 Season Total 152/207 (73.4%) We’ve reached that time of year again when we take a pause. Not that anyone really wants one, but we are forced to sit through one anyway. There’s just not that much in it these days. I’ve been trying to pinpoint the reason why? What the Stats Say Is it because there is a clear two-speed economy going? There are teams that have it and then teams that have not. Most games are one sided and predictable and I think I only got 26% of my tips wrong just to mix it up a bit. That could be it. Or could it be that when I watch a game it’s usually pretty frustrating watching terrible ball movements patter...
